Always kind and helpful, always explains everything clearly including pro’s and con’s of all possible options. Always listens and makes parents and child feel fully involved. Has been a huge help to our family and we will always be forever grateful.

He includes personal experience which provides authenticity to his approach. When he feeds back his recollection of the conversation he allows me to confirm that his understanding is what I had meant to convey. His pace and style of questioning allows me to give a calmer & relaxed reply.

Dr Barr has made our daughter feel at ease from the start, he has a lightness of touch and genuine interest in her and an understanding of what makes her tick. She really feels understood and supported by him, as do we her parents.
